Alabama Statutes § 11-46-43 Right of secret ballot; write-in voting prohibited
Statute Text
(a)
Every voter in a municipal election shall have the right to vote a secret ballot which shall be kept secret and inviolate.
(b)
Electors shall not be entitled to vote for any person whose name does not appear on the ballot, and no elector shall write in the name of any person on the ballot.
