Alabama Statutes § 17-17-2 Duty of sheriff to preserve order at elections
Statute Text
Any sheriff or deputy who wilfully or corruptly fails to perform any duty imposed by Section
17-9-1
shall be guilty, upon conviction, of a Class C felony, and, upon conviction, the office of such sheriff is thereby vacated.
