Alaska Regulations § 6 AAC 25.035 Payment of election officials
Regulation Text
(a)
Election board workers will be paid $20 an hour for time spent at their election duties.
(b)
Election board chairpersons will be paid $20.50 an hour for time spent at their election duties.
(c)
Members of the district absentee ballot and questioned ballot review boards, and absentee voting officials paid hourly will be paid $20 an hour for time spent at their election duties.
(d)
Members of the state ballot counting review board will be paid $25 an hour for time spent at their election duties.
(e)
Members of the regional counting boards, as appointed by the regional election supervisors, will be paid a fee of $25 per hour for time spent at their election duties.
(f)
Repealed 8/13/2000.
(g)
Repealed 7/17/88.
(h)
Absentee voting officials at absentee sites will be paid $100 for time spent at their election duties.
(i)
Absentee voting station officials at absentee stations will be paid $20.50 an hour for time spent at their election duties.
(j)
An owner of a building used as a polling place will be paid $100 per election for use of the building.
(k)

(l)
Ballot tabulation coordinators, polling place field workers, individuals appointed as personal representatives, and absentee and questioned ballot processors will be paid $20 an hour for time spent at their election duties.
(m)
Language assistance workers working for a precinct in an on-call status on election day, will be paid a fee of $125. Language assistance workers working for a regional elections office, or for multiple precincts on election day will be paid a fee of $250.
(n)
Extra election day and election night workers write-in counting team members will be paid $15.50 an hour.
