Alaska Regulations § 6 AAC 25.500 Locations and dates of operation for absentee voting stations

Up to Article 3: Absentee Questioned, and Special Needs Voting

(a) Absentee voting stations will be established through the direction and approval of the director. Absentee voting officials will be present in the absentee voting stations during the following specified times:
(1) in any elections supervisor's office, which is considered an absentee voting station, during the following times:
(A) business hours, Monday - Friday, beginning 15 days before the primary, general, and statewide special elections;
(B) between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on the Saturday before the primary, general, and statewide special elections;
(C) between 12:00 noon and 4:00 p.m. on the Sunday before the primary, general, and statewide special elections;
(2) between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. on primary, general, and statewide special election days.
(b) Unless otherwise specified in (a) of this section, the operation of absentee voting stations, other than election supervisors' offices, is limited to the following elections:
(1) primary election;
(2) special primary election;
(3) general elections; and
(4) special elections.
(c) Ballots for local option elections conducted by the state under AS 04.11.507 (c) will be available at all election supervisors' offices during business hours 15 days before an election and on election day.
