Alaska Regulations § 6 AAC 25.550 Signature of voter on absentee by-mail oath and affidavit envelope

Regulation Text

(a) An absentee voter voting by mail must execute the certificate on the oath and affidavit envelope. To be properly executed, the certificate must include the voter's signature and the signature of an official witness or signature of one individual 18 years of age or older attesting the ballot as required by AS 15.20.081 (d) .
(b) The signature of the voter may be any written or printed form of the voter's name or initials, or any other mark intended as a signature.
(c) A voter whose signature under (b) of this section has been affixed anywhere, or in any position, on the voter's certificate is sufficient in determining that the voter has properly executed the certificate.
