Alaska Regulations § 6 AAC 25.560 Timeliness of absentee by-mail ballot

Regulation Text

(a) An absentee ballot cast by mail is timely if the date of postmark is on or before election day and the ballot is received by the deadlines established in AS 15.20.081 (e) and (h) .
(b) If there is no readable postmark, the date of the voter's signature as attested to by the official witness or other witnesses will be used in determining if the ballot was voted on or before election day.
(c) A ballot that bears no readable postmark and that does not identify the date on which the voter's certificate was signed and attested to will not be counted unless it is received on or before election day.
