Alaska Regulations § 6 AAC 25.686 Delivery of official absentee ballot

Regulation Text

For a statewide primary, special primary, general, or special election, the director will send the official absentee ballot and absentee voting material as soon as they are ready for distribution. However, if the voter is an absent uniformed services voter or an absent overseas voter, or indicates on the ballot application that the voter expects to be living, working, or traveling outside the United States or in a remote area of the state at the time of the election, the director will send the voter an absentee ballot and other voting materials beginning no later than 45 days before election day.
