Alaska Regulations § 6 AAC 27.163 No write-in vote on a ballot for election of initial municipal officials

Regulation Text

In an election for initial municipal officials that is part of an incorporation election under AS 29.05.110 and 29.05.120 , a voter may not vote for a person whose name is not on the ballot. Votes cast for a person whose name is not on the ballot will not be counted, but writing in a candidate's name does not invalidate the entire ballot.
