Arizona Statutes § 16-534 Inspector as chairman of board; powers; power of board and clerks to administer oaths; oath of members
Statute Text
A.
The inspector shall be chairman of the election board and may appoint judges, clerks and a marshal if during the election a judge, clerk or marshal fails to act, or has not been appointed, and if the list of alternate board members as specified in section
16-533
is not available.
B.
The inspector, any member of the election board or clerks thereof may administer and certify oaths required in the election.
C.
Before opening the polls, each member of the board and each clerk shall take an oath to faithfully perform the duties imposed on each member and clerk by law. Any elector of the precinct may administer and certify the oath.
