Arkansas Statutes § 7-4-104 Lists of county chairs - Notification of vacancies
Statute Text
(a)
(1)
It shall be the duty of the majority and minority parties to keep on file with their respective state chair a complete list of all of their respective county chairs.
(2)
It shall be the duty of the respective county chairs of both the majority and minority parties to keep on file with the Secretary of State a letter stating the name of the county chairs and to notify promptly the Secretary of State of the death, resignation, disqualification, or vacancy in the office of any county chair and of the election of a new chair to fill the vacancy thus created.
(b)
It shall be the duty of the Secretary of State to keep the letters containing the names of the county chairs of the majority and minority parties as public records open at all times to public inspection.
