California Statutes § 10730 Applicability of chapter
Statute Text
(a)
This chapter provides the procedures for nomination and election of candidates at a special election to fill vacancies in the House of Representatives caused by a catastrophe.
(b)
The procedures provided by Chapter 1 (commencing with Section 10700) shall apply to special elections to the extent those provisions are not inconsistent with this chapter or
Section
8
of Title 2 of the United States Code
.
