California Statutes § 2155.4 Voter notification; text message or email
Statute Text
An elections official may, upon receipt of a properly executed affidavit of registration or address correction notice or letter pursuant to Section 2119 , Article 2 (commencing with Section 2220) of Chapter 3, or the federal National Voter Registration Act of 1993 (
52 U.S.C. Sec.
20501
et seq.), or an affidavit of registration pursuant to Section 2101 or subdivision (d) of Section 2102 , notify the sender by text message or email that his or her voter registration information has been received and that he or she will receive a subsequent notification pursuant to Section 2155 or 2155.3.
