California Statutes § 2163 Voter registration logo

Statute Text

The Secretary of State shall prepare an appropriate voter registration logo that may be displayed by offices, stores, and other establishments indicating the availability of voter registration for the public. The Secretary of State, upon request, shall provide these logos free of charge to any interested person or organization.

History

Amended by Stats 2015 ch 728 ( AB 1020 ) , s 33 , eff. 1/1/2016 if the Secretary of State certifies that the state has a statewide voter registration database that complies with the requirements of the federal Help America Vote Act of 2002 ( 52 U.S.C. Sec. 20901 et seq.) . Certification issued 9/26/2016.
