Colorado Statutes § 1-13-707 Inducing defective ballot
Statute Text
Any person who causes any deceit to be practiced with intent to fraudulently induce a voter to deposit a defective ballot so as to have the ballot thrown out and not counted upon conviction shall be punished as provided in section
1-13-111
.

(1) This section is similar to former § 1-13-133 as it existed prior to 1980.
(2) Section 803(2) of chapter 462 (SB 21-271), Session Laws of Colorado 2021, provides that the act changing this section applies to offenses committed on or after March 1, 2022.
