Connecticut Regulations § 9-241-1 General standards
Regulation Text
The secretary of the state may approve only those direct recording electronic voting machines which have been certified by an independent test authority, accredited by the National Association of State Election Directors, as meeting the voluntary performance and test standards for voting systems adopted by the Federal Election Commission on January 25, 1990, as amended from time to time, and which meet the standards specified in Sections 9-241-1 to
9-241-36
, inclusive, of these regulations and the requirements of the Connecticut constitution and the general statutes.
