Connecticut Statutes § 9-258a Two shifts of election officials
Statute Text
Notwithstanding any provision of the general statutes, special acts or its charter, in each municipality the registrars of voters, or assistant registrar of voters, as the case may be may establish, except for unofficial checkers and the moderator, two shifts of election officials for each polling place. In each polling place for which two or more shifts of election officials have been provided in this section or section
9-235
, the moderator shall keep a written record of the specific hours and time served at the polls by each election official. In each such polling place, all members of second shifts, including official checkers, assistant registrars and ballot clerks of second shifts, shall be present at the closing of the polls and shall remain until all paperwork has been executed.
