Connecticut Statutes § 9-370a Recanvass on close question vote
Statute Text
In the case of an election or referendum wherein the difference between the "Yes" and "No" vote on a question was less than one-half of one per cent of the total number of votes cast for the question but not more than two thousand votes, the moderator shall proceed forthwith to cause a recanvass of such returns to be made as nearly as may be in the manner provided in section
9-311
. In the case of a regional school district referendum where there is a tabulation of the vote as a whole, the moderators in the district shall proceed forthwith to cause such recanvass to be made upon such tabulation.
