Hawaii Regulations § 3-161-5 Individual representing party

When an individual, acting in a representative capacity on behalf of a party, appears in a proceeding or signs a document submitted to the commission or hearings officer, that personal appearance or signature shall constitute a representation that the individual is lawfully authorized and qualified to so act. The individual at any time, however, may be required by the commission or hearings officer to furnish proof of authorization and qualification to act in that capacity.
