Regulation Text
(a)
A "signature device" refers to a device that either captures images or uses imported images which it analyzes and compares to existing signature reference images. A signature device can be incorporated into any automated ballot sorting system or similar system or it may be a stand-alone device.
(b)
The clerk may conduct audits relating to the signature device and may discontinue the use of the device at any time without regard to the results of any auditing.
