Idaho Statutes § 34-2406 JOINT PURCHASE AND USE OF MACHINES AUTHORIZED

(1)
In procuring the necessary voting machines or vote tally systems to be used, a governing body of any county, city, district or other political subdivision in the county, may by agreement entered into by the board of county commissioners and the governing bodies of cities, districts or other political subdivisions, provide for the joint purchase and subsequent ownership of voting machines or vote tally systems and for the care, maintenance and use of the machines or vote tally systems.
(2)
The governing body of two (2) or more counties may by agreement provide for the joint use of voting machines or vote tally systems.
