Illinois Regulations § 2 IAC 576.120 Freedom of Information Officers

There shall be appointed one Freedom of Information Officer in both the Springfield and Chicago offices of the Attorney General. Such Officers shall be responsible for insuring compliance with all provisions of the Freedom of Information Act within their respective offices. The Freedom of Information Officer in the Springfield office shall also be responsible for insuring compliance with all provisions of the Freedom of Information Act within each regional office of the Attorney General. There shall be appointed one Assistant Freedom of Information Officer at each regional office who shall assist the Freedom of Information Officer in the Springfield office in processing requests for public documents received at regional offices.
