Illinois Statutes § 5/14-5.2 Designation of holdover judges

⤴ Up to Article 14: Judges (In Municipalities Under Boards of Election Commissioners)

Statute Text

For each precinct in which there are 2 teams of judges, the board of election commissioners shall designate 2 of the judges of election, one from each political party, as holdover judges. The holdover judges shall be on duty during the entire time from the opening of the polls until the conclusion of the counting of the vote.
