Illinois Statutes § 5/2A-28 Cities Generally - Alderpersons - Time of Election

Up to Article 2A: Time of Holding Elections

Statute Text

An alderperson [alderman] of a city other than the City of Chicago shall be elected at the consolidated or general primary election in each year to succeed each incumbent alderperson [alderman] whose term ends before the following consolidated or general election.
