Illinois Statutes § 5/2A-48 Chicago Board of Education and Board of School Directors; member; time of election
Statute Text
Except as otherwise provided, a
[A]
member of a Board of School Directors or a member of an elected Board of Education, as the case may be, shall be elected at each consolidated election to succeed each incumbent member whose term ends before the following consolidated election.
Beginning with the 2024 general election, the Chicago Board of Education elected members shall be elected as provided in subsection (b-15) of Section 34-3 of the School Code.
