Illinois Statutes § 5/4-25 Compensation of deputy registrars and judges of registration
Statute Text
The compensation of the deputy registrars and judges of registration appointed by the county board to conduct the registrations under Section 4-6.3 and Section 4-7, shall be fixed by the county board, but in no case shall such compensation be less than $15 nor more than $25 per day for each day actually employed at the registration, canvass and revision and such deputy registrars and judges of registration shall also be compensated at the rate of five cents per mile for each mile actually traveled in calling at the county clerk's office for registration cards and returning them to said officer.
The State Board of Elections shall reimburse each county for the amount of the increase in compensation under this Section provided by this amendatory Act from funds appropriated for that purpose.
