Illinois Statutes § 5/6-74 Quadruple returns and canvassing by commissioners serving two municipalities
Statute Text
The returns of the judges of election of such village or incorporated town, mentioned in the last section, in case of a village or town election for any officer of such village or town, shall be made to the same officer as otherwise required by law, who shall receipt therefor; and all such returns shall be canvassed by the election authority of such village or incorporated town, as established by law, with the same powers of investigation and examination by the election authority as is authorized by this act to the canvassing board of any such city.
