Indiana Statutes § 3-11-15-60 Sale, lease, or transfer of voting system certified for Indiana use; restrictions
Statute Text
(a)
This section applies to a voting system certified for use in Indiana elections.
(b)
A vendor may not sell, lease, or transfer possession of a voting system to a person except to:
(1)
an Indiana county;
(2)
the voting system technical oversight program (VSTOP) (established by IC
3-11-16-2
);
(3)
a state or local government in the United States for the purpose of conducting elections in that jurisdiction; or
(4)
a political party in Indiana entitled to nominate candidates for the general election at:
(A)
a convention conducted under IC
3-8-4
; or
(B)
a town convention conducted under IC
3-8-5
;
for the limited purpose of conducting the nomination of the candidates.
