Indiana Statutes § 3-12-3-12 Casting of votes by absentee voters; counting

Statute Text

Votes by absentee voters may be cast on paper ballots or ballot cards, or both methods may be used. The ballots may be counted by an automatic tabulating machine or by special canvassing boards appointed by and under the direction of the county election board. A true copy of each paper absentee ballot may be made on a ballot card, which, after being verified in the presence of witnesses, shall be counted in the same manner as other ballot cards.
