Indiana Statutes § 3-12-4-14 Tie votes
Statute Text
If two (2) or more candidates receive the highest and an equal number of votes for a local office, the county election board shall:
(1)
declare that no person is elected to fill the office; and
(2)
certify the tie vote in the statement prepared by the circuit court clerk under section 9 of this chapter.
