Indiana Statutes § 3-6-9-4 Certification of watchers by attorney-in-fact
Statute Text
(a)
An attorney-in-fact designated under section 2 of this chapter shall file with the circuit court clerk the names of the voters of the county or municipality who are to act as watchers in the precincts designated in the written statement.
(b)
The attorney-in-fact may certify watchers from voters of the county or municipality without regard to precinct boundary lines.
(c)
A watcher designated under this section:
(1)
may not be a candidate to be voted for at the election, except as an unopposed candidate for precinct committeeman or state convention delegate; and
(2)
must be a registered voter of the county.
