Indiana Statutes § 3-7-12-27 County voter list maintenance activities; filing affidavit; form and content of affidavit
Statute Text
(a)
The circuit court clerk (or in a county with a board of registration, the members of the board of registration) shall, not later than:
(1)
noon seventy-seven (77) days before each general election and each primary election conducted in a general election year; and
(2)
seventeen (17) days before each municipal election or each primary election conducted in a municipal election year;
file an affidavit under affirmation with the election division.
(b)
The affidavit must be on a form prescribed by the election division and must state that the county voter registration office has:
(1)
conducted the voter list maintenance program under this article; and
(2)
canceled the registrations required under the voter list maintenance program.
