Indiana Statutes § 3-7-34-5 Effort to be made to obtain missing information
Statute Text
(a)
If a registration form contains all of the information required to be supplied by the voter, but does not include the information required to be supplied by the bureau of motor vehicles commission, the county voter registration office shall promptly make one (1) effort to contact the commission to obtain the information.
(b)
If the information is not obtained from the commission under subsection (a) not later than seven (7) days after the county voter registration office provides the notice, the county voter registration office shall notify the NVRA official. The NVRA official shall contact the commission to request that the information be provided to the county voter registration office or that the commission file a statement with the county voter registration office indicating why the information is not available.
