Indiana Statutes § 3-7-39-8 Change of address to different precinct in same county
Statute Text
(a)
This section applies to a voter who changes residence from a precinct in a county to another precinct in the same county.
(b)
As required under
52 U.S.C.
20507
(f)
, the county voter registration office:
(1)
shall correct the address shown on the voter registration records for a voter subject to this section; and
(2)
may not remove the voter from the voter registration records due to a change of address, except as provided in this title.
(c)
A voter described in this section, who is otherwise eligible to vote, may vote as provided in IC
3-10-11
or IC
3-10-12
.
