Up to Chapter 40.5: Changes in Registration Records to Update Signature of Voter

Statute Text

(a) This section applies when a county voter registration office determines that the original signature of a voter on a voter registration application previously approved by the county voter registration office is missing or has been destroyed.
(b) The county voter registration office may scan a copy of the voter's original signature from a poll list or other document maintained by the county election board or the county voter registration office into the computerized list to generate a copy of the signature for printing on a poll list or for an electronic poll book.
