Indiana Statutes § 3-8-6-2 Nomination by petition

Up to Chapter 6: Nomination by Petition for Independent or Minor Political Party Candidates

Statute Text

A candidate may be nominated for an elected office by petition of voters who are:
(1) registered to vote at the residence address set forth on the petition on the date the county voter registration office certifies the petition under section 8 of this chapter; and
(2) qualified to vote for the candidate.
