Kansas Statutes § 25-2434 Voting more than once
Statute Text
(a)
Voting more than once is intentionally:
(1)
Voting or attempting to vote more than once in the same jurisdiction in an election held on a particular date;
(2)
voting or attempting to vote in more than one jurisdiction in the United States in an election held on a particular date;
(3)
inducing or aiding any person to vote more than once in the same jurisdiction in an election held on a particular date; or
(4)
inducing or aiding any person to vote in more than one jurisdiction in the United States in an election held on a particular date.
(b)
Voting more than once or attempting to commit the crime of voting more than once is a severity level 7, nonperson felony.
(c)
The provisions of K.S.A. 2023 Supp.
21-5301
(c)
, and amendments thereto, shall not apply to a violation of attempting to commit the crime of voting more than once pursuant to this section.
(d)
This section shall be part of and supplemental to article 24 of chapter 25 of the Kansas Statutes Annotated, and amendments thereto.
