Kansas Statutes § 25-3608 Petition circulator defined
Statute Text
(a)
For purposes of this act, "petition circulator" shall mean a person who is:
(1)
A United States citizen;
(2)
at least 18 years of age; and
(3)
has not been convicted of a felony or if convicted of a felony under the law of any state or of the United States, has been pardoned or restored to such person's civil rights.
(b)
All petition circulators, whether residents or nonresidents of the state of Kansas, are required to agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the state, including its agencies, political subdivisions and election officials, for purposes of subpoena enforcement regarding the integrity and reliability of the petition process.
