Louisiana Regulations § 52-I-301 Duties of the Executive Secretary

A.
The executive secretary or his designee shall:
1.
act as the board's secretary; attend all of its meetings; and keep minutes of its proceedings;
2.
carry out the directives, orders, and assignments of the board;
3.
prepare such reports as the board may request regarding its work;
4.
issue subpoenas and subpoenas duces tecum;
5.
act between meetings of the board on routine matters not requiring board approval;
6.
provide normal staff services in support of the board's activities;
7.
notify, in writing, the appropriate appointing authority of the pending expiration of the term of each board member;
8.
receive all reports filed by political committees and candidates pursuant to the provisions of the Campaign Finance Disclosure Act;
9.
receive all complaints filed pursuant to the provisions of any law within the board's jurisdiction;
10.
receive all reports filed pursuant to the provisions of the Lobbyist Disclosure Act and the Executive Branch Lobbyist Disclosure Act.
