Louisiana Statutes § 18:1258 Vacancy in nomination; procedure; death of candidate
Statute Text
A vacancy by reason of death or withdrawal among the slate of candidates for the office of presidential elector nominated by a recognized political party, whether by a convention or otherwise, shall be filled in the manner which shall be provided by the state central committee of the party. In all other cases, if the candidate who withdrew or died is elected, the remaining presidential electors who are elected shall vote to fill the vacancy as provided in
