Louisiana Statutes § 18:541 Opening and closing of the polls
Statute Text
A.
In the primary and general elections, the polls shall open at 7:00 a.m. on election day and shall close at 8:00 p.m. on election day.
B.
Notwithstanding the provisions of Subsection A of this Section, in regularly scheduled congressional primary elections and elections held at the same time, the polls shall open at 6:00 a.m. on election day and shall close at 8 p.m. on election day.
