Massachusetts Statutes § 51:53 Police officers at meetings

Statute Text

The board of police or officer in charge of the police force of a city or town shall, when requested by the registrars, detail a sufficient number of police officers to attend any meeting held by a registrar in the performance of his duties, and to preserve order and enforce his directions.
