Michigan Statutes § 168.892 Board of county canvassers; return of recount to board of state canvassers; certification of results; final report; public
Statute Text
The boards of county canvassers shall immediately return the results of the recount to the board of state canvassers. The board of state canvassers shall compile the returns and certify the result. The returns made by the boards of county canvassers of any recount are considered to be correct, notwithstanding anything in the previous return of any board of election inspectors or any county canvassing board to the contrary. The final report on the results of any recount must be open to public inspection immediately following certification by the board of state canvassers.
