Montana Statutes § 13-16-416 Report of recount
Statute Text
(1)
If the recount shows the votes for any candidate or on any ballot issue are more or less than the number shown upon the official returns, the secretary of the recount board shall prepare a corrected report that states the number of votes ascertained by the recount.
(2)
The recount board shall direct the secretary to enter the result of the election as determined by the recount in the board records.
