Montana Statutes § 13-17-104 Providing voting systems - payment
Statute Text
(1)
The county governing body may, as practicable, provide for the use of any voting system approved pursuant to
13-17-101
.
(2)
Funds for voting systems may be provided by the same methods available for other capital equipment purchases by the county.
(3)
The governing body of a county may put the question of purchasing voting systems or the question of which type of voting system to purchase to the registered electors of the county by the same method that any other question is referred to the electors.
(4)
A county governing body may, in the manner provided in rules adopted under
13-17-107
, submit a voting system for consideration under
13-17-101
.
