New Jersey Regulations § 19:25-15.6 Contribution limits; applicability

(a)
No candidate for the office of Governor, whether or not intending to participate in public funding, no candidate for the office of Lieutenant Governor, and no campaign treasurer or deputy campaign treasurer of such candidates shall knowingly accept from any person, candidate committee, joint candidates committee, political committee, continuing political committee, or legislative leadership committee any contribution in aid of the candidacy of or on behalf of such candidates, jointly, in the aggregate in excess of $ 4,900 in any general election.
(b)
No State committee, and no campaign treasurer or deputy campaign treasurer of such State committee, shall knowingly accept from any person, candidate committee, joint candidates committee, political committee, continuing political committee, or legislative leadership committee any contribution in aid of the candidacies of, or on behalf of any candidates for the offices of Governor and of Lieutenant Governor, jointly, in the aggregate in excess of $ 4,900 in any general election, whether or not such candidates intend to participate in public funding.
(c)
Contributions from a joint account by one owner of the account shall not be attributed to other owners of the account.
