Regulation Text
(a)
A campaign treasurer of a political committee shall file a notice (Form E-1 or 48-HR) of any expenditure of money or other thing of value in excess of $ 1,900 made, incurred, or authorized by the political committee to support or defeat a candidate in an election, or to aid the passage or defeat of a public question, which expenditure is made, incurred, or authorized on or after the 13th day preceding the date of the election and up to and including the date of the election. The notice shall contain:
1.
The name of the political committee;
2.
The name and mailing address of the person, firm or recipient; or organization to whom or which the expenditure was paid or given; and
3.
The amount and purpose of the expenditure.
(b)
The notice described in (a) above shall be filed with the Commission within 48 hours of the making of the expenditure and shall be signed by the campaign treasurer.
