Ohio Regulations § 3517-1-17 Public notice of the adoption, amendment, or recision of rules

(A)
The manner of giving public notice of the proposed adoption, amendment, or recision of any rule of the Ohio elections commission under Chapter 119. of the Revised Code shall consist of posting the notice in a prominent place in the office of the Ohio elections commission, the posting of a notice in a prominent place in the offices of the secretary of state and the mailing of a notice to every board of elections in the state of Ohio with instructions to post the notice in a prominent place in the office of the board of elections.
(B)
The form of such notice shall consist of a statement of the Ohio elections commission's intention to consider the adoption, amendment, or rescission of a rule or set of rules and a general statement of the subject matter to which the proposed rules relate, and the date, time, and place of the hearing on the proposed action.
(C)
The notice described in paragraph (B) of this rule must be posted in the office of the Ohio elections commission and the office of the secretary of state and mailed to each of the boards of elections at least thirty days prior to the date of the hearing.
