Oklahoma Regulations § 230:15-11-24 Processing address confirmation return cards with change of address outside the county
Regulation Text
Address confirmation return cards that are returned by the voter and indicate a change of address outside the county shall be processed according to the following procedure.
(1)
Process receipt of the return card in MESA.
(2)
Select Out of County or Out of State, as appropriate. This selection will cancel the voter's registration in the county.
(3)
Remove the voter's registration form from the Central File and also any documentation in the Additional Information Correspondence file. Attach the address confirmation return card to the registration form and any other documentation and file in the Cancellation File.
(4)
Notify the voter that his or her voter registration in the county has been cancelled and advise the voter to register again in his or her current county or state of residence. If the voter indicated a new address in another county in Oklahoma, enclose a voter registration application form with the notice.
