Oklahoma Regulations § 230:15-5-120 Types of voter registration agencies

Voter registration agencies shall be categorized as either mandatory voter registration agencies or as discretionary voter registration agencies.
(1)
Mandatory voter registration agencies.
Mandatory voter registration agencies are those specified by federal or state law as agencies which must provide voter registration application services to persons who are applying for certain services or assistance from the agency, to persons who are renewing or recertifying certain services from the agency, and to persons who are changing address in connection with certain services or assistance received from the agency. (2)
Discretionary voter registration agencies.
Discretionary voter registration agencies are agencies designated by the Secretary of the State Election Board to provide voter registration application services to persons who are applying for certain services or assistance from the agency, to persons who are renewing or recertifying certain services from the agency, and to persons who are changing address in connection with certain services or assistance received from the agency.
