Candidates for the following county offices file with the Secretary of the County Election Board: County Assessor, County Clerk, County Commissioner, County Court Clerk, County Sheriff, and County Treasurer. [26:5-103] Candidates for elective office in independent, elementary, and technology center school districts; in all statutory municipalities; in some home rule charter cities; and for fire protection districts file with the Secretary of the County Election Board.
